Every published CT price includes the scan, facility services, applicable contrast, board-certified radiologist interpretation, final report and a digital copy upon request.

  • SCHEDULING

    We contact CT and ultrasound patients to arrange a convenient appointment. X-ray patients may walk in during imaging hours after we receive the order.

  • GET RESULTS, PAY ONE PRICE

    Pay the published all-inclusive price at your visit. A board-certified radiologist interprets the study, and the report is generally sent to the ordering provider within 48–72 hours—often sooner.

Some patients travel farther because our all-inclusive prices can be substantially simpler and more affordable than hospital-based imaging.

How much does a CT scan cost in Chattanooga?
Our CT prices range from $100 for a cardiac calcium score to $475 for examinations requiring contrast. Published prices are all-inclusive.
Does the price include the radiologist’s interpretation?
Yes. It includes facility services, the CT examination, applicable contrast, board-certified radiologist interpretation, the final report and a digital copy upon request.
Do I need an order from a healthcare provider?
Yes. All imaging studies (x-ray, ultrasound, CT) require a healthcare provider’s order. Any licensed provider may order imaging with us; it does not have to be a Hitchcock Family Medicine doctor.
Do I need insurance to use Hitchcock Direct Imaging?
No. We are a self-pay only imaging center. That means no insurance hassles, no surprise bills, and no prior authorizations. You pay a clear, upfront price a the time of your scan.
Do you accept insurance?
We are a self-pay imaging center and do not bill insurance. Our published prices are all-inclusive. Patients with insurance may still choose to pay our cash price.
Can I still use Hitchcock Direct Imaging if I have insurance?
Yes. Even if you have insurance, you can self-pay for imaging in our office. You can even use the Tennessee Right to Save Act to apply that cost to your insurance deductible; ask us for more information.
Do you perform CT with contrast?
Yes. We perform CT examinations with contrast, without contrast, and with and without contrast. We also perform CT angiography.
What should I tell you before contrast?
Tell the scheduling team if you have kidney disease, a previous reaction to contrast, are pregnant or could be pregnant, or have other concerns about the examination. We will provide instructions appropriate to the ordered study.
What is the CT table’s weight capacity?
The CT table supports patients weighing up to 500 pounds.
How quickly will I receive my results?
We will have your study read by our radiologist and results sent to your ordering provider within 2-3 business days.
Can I get a copy of my images and reports?
Yes, patients may request a digital copy of their study images and final report once it has been read by our radiologist.
Do you scan children?
Yes. We accept patients of all ages when the examination is ordered by a healthcare provider.
